Winter flowering

This bush has pink flowers with yellow stamens. They are not sensitive to the rigourous cold of winter, that’s why they can flourish. Sometimes you’ll find that snow has burnt the flowers and turned them brown. Their sweet mesmerizing fragrance will caress your nostrils. They smell like a refined mix of rose and carnation. I have thus planted the bush near my terrace. Its name is Prunus nume, the Japanese apricot tree.
Do plant winter flowering bushes, they’re worth it !

Thank you Hervé for your photos and text.
